Overview
Lancashire Renewables Ltd (LRL) is a company owned wholly by Lancashire County Council and Blackpool Council. LRL operates two waste treatment facilities in Leyland and Thornton.

The scope of the contract includes bioaerosol and emissions testing associated with waste processing activities, undertaken in accordance with the Environment Agency's Technical Guidance M9. This includes testing across biofilters - ammonia scrubbers, closed biofilters, and point source emissions to air from stacks, with sampling undertaken at appropriate locations.
