Overview
WCBC is establishing a compliant procurement route for the execution of Childcare Provision – Flying Start/Non-Maintained Funded Early Education. This will provide an unlimited number of suitably qualified and experienced Childcare Providers (referred to as Potential Providers).The provision is being purchased under two Lots: LOT 1 – FLYING STARTLOT 2 – NON-MAINTAINED EARLY EDUCATION.
WCBC envisage that the opportunity to provide services within this remit will be offered on an annual basis not exceeding the contract term of this initial provision to allow for expansion, market development and changing demographics. The application opportunities will occur each year for a September commencement date.Any supplier is who not successful at point of application to this tender provision will be able to reapply for provision from 2027/2028 onwards.CONTRACT TERM AND FORMThe duration of the overarching Contracts is 1st September 2026 – 31st August 2030.
There is an extension option available of annual increments not exceeding a maximum of two years (conclusion potentially 31st August 2032). Each further contract opportunity offered will be reduced by a term of one year to retain alignment with the conclusion date of 31st August 2030 (31st August 2032 should extension be applied).
