Overview
FCC Environment (Berkshire) Limited (FCCEB) run the operations for a 25 year PFI waste management contract with the re3 partnership. The re3 partnership consists of Reading Borough Council, Bracknell Forest Council & Wokingham Borough Council.
FCCEB are currently seeking proposals to secure long term partnerships with strategic partners to service our requirements of bulk haulage from the Smallmead & Longshot Lane Transfer Stations. The term of the contract is 60 months, with the total tonnage per annum of circa 196,599, of which 80% is Residual Waste & Municipal, with the remaining 20% being Mixed Dry Recyclables & Green Waste.
It is envisaged that the Effective Date for this contract will be 04/12/2016. This Bulk Haulage contract is currently procured every five years and this will be only the second time that this service has been procured as part of the PFI contract.
