Skottowe's Pond is located within Lowndes Park, Chesham, and currently receives highway runoff from surrounding roads including Park Road, Bellingdon Road and St Mary's Way. The project aims to improve water quality within the pond, reduce pollutant loading from surface water runoff, provide biodiversity and habitat enhancements, improve community amenity value and support wider environmental objectives within the River Chess catchment. The project forms part of Buckinghamshire Council's ongoing work to improve resilience to flooding, enhance water quality and deliver wider environmental benefits through sustainable drainage and nature-based approaches.
