In addition it is proposed that the new provider will have a practice boundary of the whole of Medway, thus affording patients from anywhere in Medway to be able to access excellent quality of service provision reducing health inequalities across Medway. The Commissioner is looking for a patient-centred approach to care delivery that is user friendly and culturally sensitive and encompasses national and local public health targets.
The Commissioner is also looking for providers who can demonstrate a willingness to deliver a number of key design principles e.g. improving access and promoting prevention and self-care, as part of core service delivery and using digital channels to provide health care online consultations. The full scope of the service can be found in the service specification available at https://in-tendhost.co.uk/scwcsu/aspx/Home.
