Overview
Birmingham City Council is seeking to appoint an organisation for the provision of an independent community advice service, for the residents of Druids Heath, Birmingham pertaining to the new regeneration scheme. The contract for the services will commence in May 2026 and will be in place for a period of 12 months with the option to extend for a further 12 months.
The Council is committed to regenerating Druids Heath for the benefit of the local community, whilst ensuring that this community is provided with independent advice, so that residents can confidently help shape how regeneration is realised. In doing so, the Council aims to ensure that regeneration is completed transparently, so that residents of Druids Heath are aware of what options are available to them, and they can truly collaborate in shaping the design of their neighbourhood.
The Provider will provide a vital role as an independent source of advice and information that is trusted by the community. Their primary focus is to ensure that affected residents’ voices are heard, to help affected residents to understand what they can expect from regeneration and to ensure their rights are protected during estate regeneration.
