Overview
PLEASE NOTE: CLARIFICATIONS HAVE BEEN ISSUED FOR THIS PROJECT. Portsmouth City Council, hereinafter referred to as the 'Employer' wishes to enter into a multiple supplier Framework Agreement which will be used to appoint 'Specialist suppliers' to complete individual projects ranging from £4,000 (though some projects may be below this value) to £250,000 in contract value via a competitive process.
Although individual contract values are unlikely to exceed £250,000 there will be no cap on the maximum value of any project that can be tendered through the Framework Agreement. The Employer estimates that the Framework Agreement may be used to let approximately £2,500,000 of relevant works contracts per annum.
The value of works quoted is based upon the Employers estimated requirements plus those of the other public bodies who will be able to access the Framework Agreement once operational. The set-up of the Framework Agreement will place no obligation on the Employer or the named contracting authorities to use the arrangements.
Eligibility & compliance
In order to bid for the work and inclusion onto the Framework Agreement suppliers must be able to demonstrate a turnover of approximately £100,000 as a minimum from their last set of accounts.
