- Project Description
- The work required under this contract is for the planned maintenance of Swindon Borough Council housing properties in the Railway Village. The Railway Village is a Conservation Area. The planned maintenance work required may be wide-ranging but is likely to include: • Redecorations • Pre-painting repairs to woodwork • Stonework repairs • Repointing • Roofing • Gutter replacements • Replacement doors • Replacement windows (subject to planning permission) • Reglazing • Asbestos surveys (if required) • Scaffolding for access as necessary The estimated annual value of the work will be £120,000.00 per annum. Due to the nature of the work, it is desired for works to be carried out in the warmer, drier months. Full details relating to the Works are provided in the tender documents.
