Overview
Birmingham City Council is seeking to promote regeneration throughout the city and to promote not only the economic but also the social and environmental wellbeing of its residents and visitors to the city. This includes offering a diverse range of facilities and activities for citizens to participate in and experience.
As part of this aspiration the Council is seeking a Provider to operate the Café at Lickey Hills Visitor Centre. Birmingham is renowned for being a green city, with numerous parks, areas of open space & open water; where people can be active and enjoy the great outdoors.
Over the past few years, we’ve seen a significant increase in the number of visitors to parks as people are realising the benefits that come from greenspace. The Café at Lickey Hills Visitor Centre offers an opportunity within a heavily urbanised area for a suitable space that can deliver refreshments to the public.
