Additional details
If there are different offers of more than 20 beds, there might be an instance where one provider is awarded a contract of less than 20 beds in order for the Council to secure the 100 units required. In this instance, the price per bed will be agreed at the award stage.
The location of the nursing care home should not exceed a journey time of 45 minutes (one way by any means of transport) with moderate traffic, as defined by Google Maps, from the following postcode N1C 4AG to the Care Home being offered. The provision must offer permanent beds, at a rate no high than the price stated in the Form of Tender.
There is a need to maintain good value nursing provisions for existing Camden clients in the short to medium term whilst attempting to secure flexibility in the longer term to manage future trends. Full details of the service requirements are set out in the Specification.
Please see the Instruction to Tenderers for information regarding where the service must be located. This opportunity will follow the "Light Touch" regime for 'Social and Other Specific Services' in line with Chapter 3, Section 7 of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015.
