Overview
Powys County Council is preparing to tender for the construction of new-build council housing at Churchstoke in Powys. The project will deliver 38 dwellings, a mix of: - x4 1-bedroom bungalows - x4 2-bedroom bungalows - x10 1-bedroom houses - x10 2-bedroom houses - x8 3-bedroom houses - x2 4-bedroom houses This greenfield site is currently laid to pasture.

The Council is currently proposing to tender the project as a design and build contract, using the JCT Design and Build Contract 2024 with a Schedule of Amendments. Payment of sub-contractors will be required to be made via a Project Bank Account.
