MSE - Static Community and Mobile MRI Managed Service

Mid and South Essex NHS Foundation Trust is seeking to establish a PSR Contract following the Competitive Process for the provision of Static Community and Mobile MRI Managed Services which will have a total of 2 Lots for suppliers who can offer breadth of goods and services detailed in this contract notice. Mid and South Essex NHS Foundation Trust is seeking to establish a Contract for the provision of Static Community MRI Managed Services (Lot 1).

The Services procured will provide additional MRI capacity, support local access to diagnostics, maintain continuity of imaging practice, and enable timely diagnosis through integration with existing Acute and Community Diagnostic Centre Pathways. The engagement will concluded by the 14th August 2026.

The engagement exercise will aim to establish a suitable procurement approach that meets the Contracting Authority's objectives. The engagement is exploratory in nature and is intended for information gathering purposes to inform the specification and to identify potential suppliers of the required services.

The Services procured will provide additional MRI capacity, support local access to diagnostics, maintain continuity of imaging practice, and enable timely diagnosis through integration with existing Acute and Community Diagnostic Centre Pathways.

Appointed Providers must have the ability to operate from any of the Authority’s designated Mid and South Essex sites, including Acute Hospital Sites and Community Diagnostics Centre’s: Locations will include: • Broomfield Hospital, Court Road, Broomfield, Chelmsford, CM1 7ET; • Broomfield Community Hospital, Chadwick Drive, Braintree, CM7 2AL • Basildon Hospital, Nethermayne, Basildon, SS16 5NL; • Pitsea Community Diagnostic Centre, Northlands Pavement, Pitsea, SS13 3DU • Southend Hospital, Prittlewell Chase Westcliff on Sea SS0 0RY[SP3.1] Engagement with suppliers will be undertaken through a combination of online meetings, in-person discussions, telephone discussions and written correspondence (including email), with organisations that are able to provide a Mobile MRI Managed Services. Engagement will be conclude by the 14th August 2026.
