Overview
Places for People Group Limited (PfP) is establishing a Major Works Framework for the delivery of planned investment works across its housing portfolio. The works will principally comprise the replacement, renewal, installation, repair and associated works relating to: windows, external doors and roofline components; internal components including kitchens, bathrooms and electrical rewires; and boilers and heating systems.
The scope may also include ancillary and consequential works necessary for the safe and effective delivery of these workstreams, including associated surveys, testing, statutory compliance works, making good and minor remedial works. The Framework is divided into 11 geographical regions and three workstream Lots within each region, creating 33 Lots in total.
Requirements, volumes and programmes will vary by region and workstream. Up to three contractors may be appointed to each Lot.
Additional details
The Framework will support PfP's planned investment programmes over its four-year term. The estimated aggregate value is approximately £156 million inclusive of VAT; however, no minimum volume or value of work is guaranteed.
