Lincolnshire Community Health Services NHS Trust (LCHS) is undertaking Prior Market Engagement to inform the future commissioning of Community Pharmacy services across Lincolnshire. The Authority wishes to engage with the market to better understand current provider capability, capacity, innovation, delivery models and commercial considerations relating to the provision of community pharmacy services.

The scope of services may include, but is not limited to, medicines supply, dispensing services, medicines optimisation, clinical pharmacy support, patient advice and support, and other associated pharmaceutical services. This Prior Market Engagement exercise is intended to inform future commissioning decisions and service development.
The Authority welcomes participation from community pharmacy providers, pharmacy multiples, independent pharmacies, distance-selling pharmacies and other suitably qualified organisations. The information gathered through this exercise will be used to help shape future service requirements and determine the most appropriate commissioning approach.
Any future commissioning process is expected to be undertaken in accordance with the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023, where applicable. Participation in this engagement exercise does not constitute a procurement process, and no contract will be awarded as a result of this notice.
Additional information: This Prior Market Engagement exercise is being undertaken solely to inform future commissioning considerations and to improve the Authority's understanding of the market. The Authority welcomes responses from all suitably qualified providers capable of delivering community pharmacy services, including existing providers, independent pharmacies, pharmacy multiples, distance-selling pharmacies and other relevant organisations.
The Authority reserves the right to determine the most appropriate commissioning approach following completion of the engagement exercise. Any future commissioning activity is anticipated to be conducted in accordance with the Health Care Services (Provider Selection Regime) Regulations 2023, where applicable. Participation in this engagement exercise is voluntary and will not confer any advantage, preference or guarantee of involvement in any subsequent commissioner-led process.
