Overview
HEALTHWATCH SUTTON OPEN ‘ONE-STAGE’ TENDER OPPORTUNITY The London Borough of Sutton (Sutton Council) is seeking tender bids from suitably qualified organisations for the provision of a local Healthwatch in the London Borough of Sutton. The national vision for local Healthwatch is that it will be the local consumer voice for health and social care.
It will benefit patients, users of services, carers and the public by helping people to get the best out of services, improving outcomes and helping services to be more responsive to what people want and need. This vision applies to all communities and includes adults, children and young people.
Local Healthwatch organisations will work with communities to influence commissioners to design and provide better health and social care services. The contract will initially be for a period of 2 years commencing on 1st October 2016 with the option to extend the contract for a further 2 years, in 12-monthly intervals, at the discretion of the Council.
