Additional details
The fitness facility if being offered to: • Provide additional exercise opportunities to the community • Enhance the health related exercise provision that can be offered • Bring users in to the Stapleford Pavilion The fitness facility will utilise one of the smaller multi-use rooms for a small gym that can cater for all abilities and ages. Due to the size of the facility it would not be financially viable to staff the gym for the majority of the time so it must be self-managing.
Based on this the proposed equipment must be able to be utilised simply and provide an induction, programme and directions for use without a member of staff. To achieve this requires a move away from traditional gym equipment to ones that are able to induct users and allow for safe and effective use with minimal input from staff.
The equipment must be technologically driven and allow customers to be able to login to the equipment and complete a tailored workout that can be automatically prescribed to them based on their preferences. We are looking for a provider who will take an innovative approach to the gym set-up and offer added value.
All associated costs must be included in the price submitted. Broxtowe Borough Council require a Single Supplier to carry out this work, use of sub contractors is allowed but a list must be provided and they would have to meet the criteria as set out in the specification. Contract Length 5 years.
