Overview
Wigan Council is seeking a contractor to complete a survey of highway gullies of the A, B, C and Unclassified carriageway network (total network length 1,040km) surveying 58,000 gullies. The works will be carried out under the terms and conditions of the Engineering and Construction Contract (ECSC), Third Edition, published in June 2005 with amendments 2006 by the Institution of Engineers.
The contract period stated in this notice (15 months) includes a twelve month defect period. The actual highway gully survey shall commence 25th April 2016 and be completed by 31st July 2016.
