How to Read This Tender
- 1Read the “Objectives” section carefully – it lists every deliverable the buyer expects, not just a generic “research” task
- 2Check the dates: clarification questions must be submitted by 27 Aug 2026 and the final quote by 4 Sept 2026 – late submissions will be rejected
- 3Look for any referenced standards such as the OHID menu of interventions – your response should show how you will meet those guidelines
- 4Identify any implicit requirements (e.g., experience with public‑health research, ability to work with diverse communities) and address them in your methodology
- 5Watch out for the need to produce both a strategy document and a separate delivery plan – treat them as two distinct outputs in your pricing
Tips for Small Businesses
- Partner with a local university or research institute to boost credibility and share the workload on the qualitative component
- Highlight any social‑value benefits you can bring, such as involving community groups or providing training for local staff
- If the contract value is high, consider forming a consortium with another small firm that has complementary expertise (e.g., data analytics) to meet the scope
