This tender is applicable to Residential Care Homes located within the boundaries of the Borough of Stockton-on-Tees. The Care Home will be registered with the Care Quality Commission for the regulated service - Accommodation for persons who require nursing or personal care, with the specialism of learning disabilities.
It is not applicable to Personal Care Providers who provide domiciliary services in people's homes (This is covered by the Council's existing Care at Home Framework). Residential service can support people with both moderate and complex needs, with identified models of care and support to ensure services are safe and sustainable.
