Expert Review of Data Quality and Data Reporting for Betsi Cadwaladr Health Board

BCUHB has identified a series of issues relating to inaccurate data reporting across several performance, operational and statutory datasets, linked to the data warehouse, reconciliation and sign off processes. These issues have raised concerns regarding: • Reliability of internal management information • Accuracy of externally reported performance data • Effectiveness of data governance and assurance arrangements • Confidence among regulators, Welsh Government and the public An independent, expert review is required to: • Establish the scale and root causes of the issues • Provide assurance on current data quality • Recommend robust improvements to prevent recurrence • Support restoration of confidence among stakeholders through the identification of strengths within systems and processes as well as identifying areas for improvement Please see full description on etender Wales Bravo
