The West Yorkshire Combined Authority are potentially looking to issue a tender in the near future for replacement Finance and HR/Payroll systems either separately or as a combined system to provide further functionality to the internal business and to support its expanded remit and functions. The current software packages have been in situ that currently support the core business were designed to meet the requirements of the previous Passenger Transport Executive (PTE), rather than the now recently formed Combined Authority.

The Authority aim to deliver a best in class system to specific departments within the Combined Authority. The system will require ongoing support throughout its life and needs to have the ability to adapt to environmental changes, such as possible devolution.

Please find attached current approx. statistics regarding the size of organisation the Combined Authority are relating to the size of solution the Authority require. It is the intention of the Combined Authority to contact all organisations who have expressed an interest, explaining our intent, in the near future of the initial expression of interest deadline.

It is envisaged that the procurement process will be run through the Combined Authority's E-Procurement system 'In-Tend'. The Authority will utilise this system to issue the tender once it becomes available.
