Overview
The council is in the process of building a new build crematorium and bereavement centre located at the Former Outdoor Centre, Mepal, UK. The key aims of this new facility is to provide a beautiful and sustainable alternative to the residents of East Cambridgeshire and surrounding area.
To assist with this aim, it has been decided that an electric cremator will be installed. Production, supply and installation of an electric cremator and supporting equipment, as listed below.

The provision of the electric cremator needs to be within the constraints of the new building, changing the build layout at this stage is not a possibility due to cost implications for redesign work.

The floor area available in the cremator hall for the cremator and the supporting equipment is 71m2. This does not include the floor area that has been allocated for the committal hall.
