Overview
Leicestershire County Council's QuitReady stop smoking service is looking to procure E-cigarette kits to form part of the treatment plan for service users as part of their 12 week treatment programme. E-Cigarettes would be an adjunct to pharmacotherapy and will form part of the wider nicotine containing product offer.
E-Cigarettes will only be provided to persons over the age of 18 years old. The QuitReady stop smoking programme intends to support service users quit smoking entirely.
The Council is looking to place an initial order for 500 kits and intends to purchase further quantities as required, subject to demand. The contract value is estimated to be worth up to £50,000.00 per annum, and an initial 12 month contract is offered, with the option to extend by up to a further 12 months.

These will only be given to service users who are signed up to the QuitReady stop smoking programme and who are engaged with the service for 12 weeks or more and are receiving behavioural intervention with weekly contact from a stop smoking advisor.
