On 13th March, DWP published an ITT to invite existing Framework providers to participate in a mini-competition for a new programme - Intensive Personalised Employment Support (IPES).
We intend to bid in all 3 of our Framework areas (North East, North West and Central England) and are keen to hear from providers interested in supporting our delivery. IPES Programme IPES is a new voluntary provision for people with disabilities and complex barriers to employment who are considered to be more than 12 months from the labour market without intensive support.
The programme will consist of three main areas: 1. Introduction - building and maintaining a quality relationship between Keyworker and participant 2.
Contact & helpdesk
Intensive support is expected to include greater frequency and duration of contact and greater depth of support beyond that offered by other DWP programmes.
Additional details
Support into employment - preparing participants for work which includes support to access other provision, build networks and undertake a work placement 3. Sustained in-work support - providing a service to both the participant and the employer The key outcome for IPES is sustainable paid employment.
Timescales: Procurement is currently timetabled for completion in August 2019, with programme delivery due to commence in December 2019.
