Overview

The current CCG contract is due to end March 2016 however the CCG has extended the contract until September 2016 to allow time for the tender process to take place for the new contract which will be for the period 1st October 2016 ? 30th September 2019 with an option to extend by a further two 12 month period (3 years plus 1 year + 1year). The new CCG service model is that of a Prime Provider Contract Model; whereby one single Provider will be responsible for the management of all aspects of Direct Access Diagnostic Imaging Services and their care pathways.
WUTH is aiming to become the Prime Provider and enter into sub-contracting partnerships (only if WUTH wins the CCG contract) to deliver high quality Diagnostic Imaging Services across Wirral.
