Overview
We are procuring the services of a specialist demolition contractor to safely and efficiently demolish two defective structures located on the Castle Eden Walkway. The structures are experiencing significant defects and structural failures, and assessments have determined that repairing them to a safe and serviceable standard would incur costs substantially greater than those associated with demolition.
No Social Value was requested on this tender as the expected time for demolition is 2 - 3 weeks. The structures no longer serve any functional purpose and therefore do not justify the significant investment required for repair or ongoing maintenance.
