Overview
Xentrall Finance is progressing with the migration of the hosted Unit4 Business World (Agresso) ERP system to a cloud-based (SaaS) environment. This system underpins the financial operations of Darlington Borough Council, Stockton-on-Tees Borough Council and Tees Valley Combined Authority, making the migration a critical programme of work.
As outlined in the approved Statement of Work, the migration involves a number of technical and operational activities including system upgrade, data transfer, and structured testing and deployment phases. Unit4 places reliance on a partner led approach, meaning there is limited direct engagement between Unit4 and Xentrall during the migration.
As such, the Statement of Work confirms that project management, coordination and escalation routes will be channelled through a partner organisation. To support this, G7 Business Solutions have been identified as the appropriate partner. G7 are an established Unit4 migration partner with responsibility under the Statement of Work to: - Provide project management and technical coordination across all phases (plan, transform, deploy) - Act as the primary liaison between Xentrall and the Unit4 project team - Support the review and approval process for system customisations and integrations - Assist with migration planning, testing, and go-live readiness This role is critical in ensuring the migration is delivered in a controlled and efficient manner, with clear governance, defined escalation routes, and alignment to Unit4's technical requirements.
