Overview
Nottingham City Council is seeking tenders from sufficiently experienced and qualified contractors for the service provision of bus services on the Citylink1 and Citylink2 routes. Prospective operators will be expected to operate both services.
The Council will supply a total of 13 BYD electric buses for use on the Citylink1 and Citylink2 services to the successful tenderers. The vehicles will be supplied in the Council's liveries.
The number of buses supplied will be reviewed during the life of the contract and any efficiencies that do not impact on the delivery of the service will be implemented, potentially reducing the number of buses required. The successful tenderer will arrange and pay for all maintenance and inspection work undertaken on the Council supplied vehicles.
