Lancaster City Council recognises that a number of incidents occur day and night throughout the year. To enable the council to respond to such situations it is now seeking contractors to work with on a responsive basis Submissions are sought from suitably qualified and experienced Demolition contractors to register their interest and present completed schedules in order to establish contractor framework to be utilised in extreme cases were the Council may be called on to undertake demolitions to dangerous structures.
The list will consist of no more than 3 contractors (although the council reserve the right to use more or less if deemed appropriate) the contractors on the list will be ranked using the evaluation criteria stated below. Contractors from the list will then be contacted according to the order of the initial ranking and then used on a rotational basis when required.
The framework is not a guarantee of work but should the need arise this framework will establish the first call for contractors in these specialisms. The established frameworks will only be reviewed after a period of 3 years.
