Overview
**This notification refers to a Market Engagement Event Only** Cleveland Fire Brigade is currently soft market testing with a view to exploring the possibility of a procurement exercise for Catering Services to its Training & Administrative Hub based in Hartlepool, Cleveland for Fire Service staff, visitors and members of the public. We are keen to speak to companies in order to help us develop a specification requirement for the future delivery of the catering services.
If your organisation is passionate about such work we would love to hear from you. We are therefore seeking a provider who would work proactively with us to: • Ensure the delivery of a catering service that will deliver a good selection of healthy, nutritious food which is cost effective and gives value for money. • Be fully compliant with all relevant Food Standard Agency instruction/policy. • Comply with all relevant regulations and governing acts pertaining to the service provision. • Comply with the requirements of the Health and Safety at Work Act 1974 (and subsequent amendments) and any other acts, rules or orders which pertain to health and safety. • Be proactive and flexible in the delivery of the service, responding to changing demands of the service in order to provide a quality cost effective solution.
The Contractor should note that it will be expected to operate on the basis of a 'nil subsidy' and that the Authority is not requiring any rebate. To support the above objectives, the client would like to conduct a market consultation in relation to this proposed procurement idea for Catering Services.
