Overview
Herefordshire Council will be running a Market Engagement event for all businesses interested in delivering home care under a new framework, called Care In Your Home (CIYH) Partnership.Herefordshire Council has a statutory duty, under the Care Act 2014, to provide home care services for residents with assessed eligible needs, in order to enable them to remain safe and independent in their own homes for longer, reducing or delaying the need for more formal health and social care services.Due to the summer holidays and continuing hot weather, we have taken the decision to hold the three sessions online only. Dates of the engagement:Online Sessions (via Microsoft teams)1) Tue 21 July 2026 at 9:30 – 11:00 2) Tue 21 July 2026 at 11:30 – 13:003) Wed 22 July 2026 at 11:30 – 13:00 The online engagement sessions will be limited to 2 attendees per provider, to facilitate wider discussion and engagement for all participants. This engagement follows on from our initial provider sessions in June, as we continue to develop the CIYH model, before decisions are finalised. Please note that each session will cover the same content, therefore there is no need to attend more than one session.ALL SUPPLIERS WHO WISH TO ATTEND WOULD NEED TO EXPRESS THEIR INTEREST by 13:00 on Monday 20 July 2026.
