Overview
Bristol City Council Street Lighting Installation and Maintenance Contract Bristol City Council is planning to procure a contract for the supply, installation and maintenance of street lighting and associated equipment for the city and the proposed contract will secure the exclusivity of in-scope equipment supply and service delivery to the successful supplier. The contract will seek to transition from input-based to output-based within the six year Initial Period, with tenders welcomed from both well-established and innovative organisations through the Open procurement process.
The new contract will start in July 2016 and we are inviting pioneering approaches to supply chain design and service delivery. We are inviting prospective tenderers to a Pre-Market Engagement day to be held on Wednesday 6 January 2016 at Ashton Court Estate (BS41 9JN) to share developments in thinking by both the authority and the industry and explore opinions in areas yet to be fully defined by the authority in advance of finalising documentation / details for the procurement process. We recognise that time is short and so we intend to follow a brief presentation (high level outline of the authority’s Key Drivers, Contract Themes and opportunities for interaction and discussion) and open forum Question and Answer session with focussed one to one sessions with individual organisations to ensure participation in the day can be maximised.
Contact & helpdesk
