Overview
Sunderland City Council ('the Council') intend to publish a Statement of Intent setting out its Eco Flexibility eligibility criteria and invite interested ECO approved Contractors to submit an application to be an appointed as one of 3 contractors. The Council will appoint up to 3 operational ECO and ECO Flex approved contractors and an additional 3 reserve contractors.
The ECO Flex eligibility criteria will be published online no later than 01.10.2020 and expect delivery contractors to be appointed and operational no less than 7 days before this date. Contractors are expected to deliver an end-to-end ECO Flex Customer Journey from Referral Generation to Assessment to Installation to Reporting all ECO Flex outcomes.
To achieve these aims appointed Contractors will be expected to abide by all operational conditions set by the Council. Should an appointed contractor fail to comply with or breach any condition then the Council reserves the discretionary right to remove them from the scheme and replace them with a reserve contractor in waiting.
Additional details
Appointed ECO Flex contractors are expected to generate their own referrals and potentially within an area base / strict post code boundaries allocated by the council and operate at all times in line with council guidance. Due to limited internal resources the scale and scope of referral generation exercises will be agreed with the Council prior to becoming operational.
