Overview
The purpose of this service is to provide safe, high-quality accommodation and support for vulnerable young people aged 16–21, including children in care and care leavers, enabling them to develop the skills, confidence and resilience required for adulthood and independent living.The Provider will deliver a flexible, needs-led service that promotes safety, wellbeing, independence, positive relationships and engagement in education, employment and training. Support will be tailored to individual needs and delivered in partnership with young people, the Council and relevant agencies.The service will contribute to the Council's corporate parenting responsibilities by ensuring young people receive the support, opportunities and stability that a good parent would provide, helping them achieve sustainable accommodation and positive outcomes as they transition into adulthood.
