Overview
ECMWF, as the Entrusted Entity for the Copernicus Atmosphere Monitoring Service (CAMS) and the Copernicus Climate Change Service (C3S), invites applications under the Copernicus Joint Services (CJS) - Copernicus Energy Hub (CEH) Call for Proposals. This Call for Proposals aims to support the 27 EU Member States and Copernicus participating states, which currently are Norway, Iceland, the United Kingdom, and Ukraine (pending ratification of the relevant agreement between the European Commission and the Government of Ukraine), in leveraging C3S products together with those from at least one additional Copernicus service to develop society relevant demo cases that empower energy communities in the context of the Copernicus Energy Hub (CEH). More specifically, this Call for Proposals seeks to advance the global clean energy transition by strengthening the investment, technical, and institutional decision making capacities of key actors in the energy sector.
In doing so, it supports progress toward international climate and sustainability objectives while reinforcing Europe’s energy security, resilience, and competitiveness in line with EU policy priorities. The CJS CEH Call for Proposals is implemented through a single Action, reflecting a key priority identified: Action 2026-1 - Demonstrating the value of Copernicus for the energy sector.Portal instructions: some of the Call documents are accessible under the ‘Attachments’ box at bottom right of this page.
