Overview
Cheshire East Council is committed to providing services that help people to live well and for longer. By helping people to improve the warmth and comfort of their home, and be able to afford to heat their home, the Council can help residents to improve their health and wellbeing which in turn reduces the demand on health and social care.
The Council has successfully delivered affordable warmth support for residents living in private sector housing for a number of years. More information about the help we offer can be found at www.cheshireeast.gov.uk/helpwithheating.
We intend to continue to maximise funding opportunities on behalf of residents, so want to appoint a Contractor who will deliver high quality heating and insulation works and maximise Energy Company Obligation (ECO) funding and other grant opportunities on behalf of local residents. It is important that the Service Provider is able to provide the best possible offer for local residents and is able to respond to new products entering the market.
