Overview
Health and Social Care Moray (HSCM) seeks to commission a provider to deliver a comprehensive Unpaid Carer Support Service for both Adult Carers (18+) and Young Carers (under 18, or 18+ and still in education). Unpaid carers play a vital role across Moray, with an estimated 16,200 individuals providing care to someone who could not manage without their support.
This contract comprises of two lots; providers may apply for either one or both lots. Lot 1 – Support for Adult Carers - Supporting adult carers aged 18+, including parent carers, working carers, older carers, and those caring for people with complex or fluctuating needs.
Lot 2 – Support for Young Carers - Supporting young carers under 18, or aged 18+ still in school, ensuring they receive age-appropriate support and have a life comparable to peers. Additional information: Optional extension: up to 2 years (to 31/12/2030) Economic operators may be excluded from this competition if they are in any of the situations referred to in regulation 58 of the Public Contracts (Scotland) Regulations 2015.
