Overview
To provide the running of the the Harold Street medical Centre, to include all the services that are required to run the medical practice. The Harold Street Medical Centre is situated in purpose-built accommodation (2 Harold Street, Sheffield, S6 3QW), which was constructed in the 1980s.
The practice area covers Walkey and into surrounding areas. Services are currently provided under an APMS contract that is currently held by Primary Care Sheffield (PCS) who deliver services to a patient list size of 2,604 patients.
The contract is due to expire naturally on the 30 September 2026. This Procurement process is being managed by NHS South Yorkshire Integrated Care Board (NHS SYICB) on behalf of the NHS England, in connection with a competitive Procurement exercise that is being conducted via the ATAMIS Portal.
The NHS SY ICB finance department have also provided the following information
- Global Sum after taking off 4.7% for OOH Opt-Out is £299,523 pa based on list size at 01.04.26
- QOF estimated achievement for 25/26 is £28,564

Please note! the estimated total value for the contract quoted above is based on the annual value of the service for the 2025/26 year, and is per annum. As the contract will be either a GMS or a PMS it is not possible to provide a contract value for this service.
Funding for rent reimbursement will also be made available. The provider will be eligible to participate in the PCN Network DES, Directed Enhanced Services and Locally Commissioned Services.
