Overview
Castles and Coasts Housing Association (CCHA) wishes to procure the services of a competent contractor to undertake the replacement of 58 fire doors at Trinity Court sheltered housing scheme in Whitehaven, Cumbria, as part of their planned compliance programme. As part of the programme, the replacement works include for the renewal of 30 flat entrance doors, as well as 28 stairwell, cross-corridor, and storeroom fire doors. Due to a pre-identified compartmentation issue, works to 16nr. of the flat entrance doors will require formation of a new fire rated GypWall Shaft and GypCeiling to enclose the existing electric meter cupboards, which will require repositioning of the flat entrance doors.
